Shop Foreman
Job Description
The Shop Foreman will work closely with the manufacturing and engineering departments to oversee and assist with the day-to-day tasks and goals. This position will require both management of shop staff and fabrication, assembly, and installation of unit components (this position is for a working foreman).
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Run the Factory Production Schedule
- Help Implement and Control Safety Program
- Maintain Factory Equipment and Tools
- Train Shop Staff on various duties and lead a team of up to 25 Welders, Fitters, Sheet Metal Fabricators, Electrical, Refrigerant Mechanics, and Control Technicians for the Manufacturing of Air Handling Units and Packaged Chiller, Boiler, and Pump Packages
- Interface with Sales / Engineering department daily for manufactured equipment
- QC of all Products with Application Engineer
- Must be a Sheet Metal expert
- Must specialize in Fitting Layout
- Must be proficient with Plasma Tables, Industrial Band Saws, Hydraulic Shears and Brakes, and their safe use and maintenance
- Must be an expert at sheet metal fabrication, structural metal layout, and Production Management
Requirements
- Must be able to read shop blueprints and follow drawings and manufacturer guidelines
- Proficient in use of hand and power tools, mechanical and electronic test equipment
- Must have an eye for proper fit and finish
- Must be able to work on your feet and lift 30 pounds
- Maintain clean and safe work environment at the factory
- Must be able to communicate well with others
- Supervisor/Management/Foreman experience is required

- Monday to Thursday
- 10 hour shift
- No nights
